Joseph is a Gemini award-winning animation designer/director (Best Direction in a Children's or Youth Program or Series). He has extensive experience in animated series, commercials, and motion graphics in studios such as Nelvana, Hanna Barbera, Marble Media, Pipeline Studios, and others.

Joseph has worked as designer, director, storyboard artist and location supervisor on many children’s programs including Beetlejuice, Johnny Test, Hotel Transylvania the series for Sony Animation, Esme and Roy for Sesame workshop productions and Alma's Way for The Fred Rogers Company. He has also illustrated for Newmark Learning - series: Early Foundations Bookshelf and Chouette Publishing in Quebec.
